India Yamaha Motor has launched the 2022 FZS 25 at a price of Rs. 1.43 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), today.The motorcycle comes in 2 new colors. Instead of the earlier Dark Matte Blue and Patina Green shades, the quarter litre bike will now be available only in Matte Copper and Matte Black paint options.While the FZS 25 has gotten new color choices for 2022, the base FZ 25 model continues to be available in Metallic Black, Racing Blue and Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Editions. All three colorways now cost the same at INR. 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Thus, the Metallic Black and Racing Blue variants have seen a price hike of INR. 4000/- when compared with June 2021.The Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition of the FZ 25 was introduced at INR. 1,36,800/- in July last year and has seen its asking price increase by INR. 2000/- in the meanwhile.No other changes have been made to either variant. It is still powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder engine tuned to produce a maximum of 20.8 PS and 20.1 Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
